Chicago Bulls look to halt slide against Grizzlies

The Chicago Bulls will try to avoid their third-straight loss when they host the Memphis Grizzlies in NBA action on Thursday.

The Bulls have a 6-4 SU and ATS edge over the past 10 head-to-head. The teams have not met since Dec. 12 last season, when the Grizzlies upset the Bulls 103-96 as a 3-point home underdog. The score just barely slipped under the total of 200.5.
The Grizzlies dropped their last outing on Monday, losing 103-93 against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Grizzlies were a 1.5-point home underdog and the score went over the over/under total of 192.5.
The Bulls suffered their second straight setback, also on Monday. The Bulls were bombed 116-92 by the Atlanta Hawks, losing as a 1-point home favorite. The score went well over the total of 196.5.
Memphis is an even 30-30 straight up and 32-28 against the point spread. The Grizzlies are 16-13 against the point spread when on the road.
Chicago is 31-29 straight up and 30-28-2 against the point spread. The Bulls are 15-12-2 against the spread at home.
On the injury front, Grizzlies guard Ronnie Brewer is out indefinitely with a hamstring injury; center Steven Hunter is out indefinitely with a sore knee; and guard Jamaal Tinsley is day-to-day with a hamstring injury. For the Bulls, guard Luol Deng is day-to-day with a sore knee; center Jerome James is out indefinitely with an achilles injury; and forward Joakim Noah is out indefinitely with a sore foot.
